Williams & Kite Approach
The Williams & Kite approach is intelligent, yet direct and simple. Our knowledgeable and experienced attorneys work with you to quickly understand your specific needs and issues. We provide innovative solutions, supporting your personal and business goals in an economical and expeditious manner.
Offering a complete range of services to closely-held businesses and their owners, we work with our clients to understand their business and proactively plan to meet their specific needs from organizational structure to succession planning -- accommodating the concerns of passing business interests on to future generations.
Our estate planning practice covers a broad spectrum of services. These include: wills and trusts, family limited partnerships, asset protection, special needs planning for disabled beneficiaries, guardianship estates for disabled adults and minor estates, and charitable giving techniques such as Charitable Remainder Trusts and Charitable Lead Trusts. We also design trusts and entities such as partnerships or LLC's for gifting purposes, management of intrafamily vacation homes, and division of farmland and family businesses.
We counsel trustees and executors through the probate and trust administration process, or offer guidance to avoid and resolve family disputes. Our estate administration practice includes representation throughout the duration of the estate including: estate and trust administration, probate proceedings, preparation of estate and gift tax returns, sale of real estate, and designing and drafting family settlement agreements. We act as a “back office” for individual trustees to provide accountings, and receipts on distribution, and assist with other administrative functions for the trustee.
